Oxyvital technology is patented worldwide (applied 2000), is medically certified in Germany, certified by Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and is scientifically tested to reduce all Indoor Air Pollutants to well within World Health Organisation and Hong Kong Government Standards for IAQ.
Oxyvital systems can eliminate particulates and gaseous pollutants as small as five angstroms - some 2,000 times smaller than virtually any other ‘air cleaners’. The technology is easily installed, can operate with virtually any HVAC system and requires minimum maintenance.*
A natural air processing plant
The Oxyvital system is a processing plant which benefits from the unique properties of Zeolite. It provides the ability to design for, not just ‘thermal comfort,' but a ‘Total’ indoor environment, delivering healthy air quality whilst achieving significant savings in HVAC running and maintenance costs - potentially in the order of 10-15%. These savings are achieved by enabling the reduction in intake of the hot, humid and contaminated outdoor air that is normally used to purge buildings of the pollution caused by human occupation. Payback on the cost of the Oxyvital system is approximately three years.By maintaining good IAQ, maintenance on the normal HVAC, primary air equipment (filters etc.) is reduced. And, there is the potential to reduce the capacity of the HVAC primary air equipment, delivering still more capital cost savings.
In addition to eliminating the most dangerous pollutants, Oxyvital equipment significantly reduces emissions from buildings, thereby contributing to the overall improvement of outdoor air quality. In addition with the reduction in electrical power requirements further savings in emissions are achieved at the power plants.
To date some 1.6 million square feet of offices in both the public and private sector utilise the Oxyvital technology in Hong Kong as well as some Spas and Health facilities.
